Mary Tavy Hydro Electric Power Station on Dartmoor was built before WWII. The Power Station was built in two phases during 1932-36. The dials and instruments are made from durable bakelite. Nearly 90 years old, they have stood the test of time and still work perfectly, giving great pleasure to their operators.
