A collection of portraits of Maasai who are transitioning from Pastoralism to Settled Agricultural practices. There are all participants from an area west of Arusha – attending the “Jali Ardhi” Workshops, a study of soil erosion in the Rift Valley enabled by Plymouth University. Their land is being decimated by extreme soil erosion due to climate change and other factors. My job is to document the research study for the forthcoming years.
